Psychedelic Carpe Diem

“Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary.” — Dead Poets Society, 1989

What does it really mean to “seize the day”?

Well, I’m glad you asked, although it means something different for each person.

What makes you come alive?

What activities &/or hobbies bring you joy? Peace? Flow?

Rather than solely existing and “solving problems” (in reality, nature, there are no problems), what if you found something you loved?

Something that added meaning to your life.

Something that allows you to express yourself.

Something that you continuously get better at, joyedly.

Something that people love to criticize you about, as you get better at it…as they watch your dreams come true from a distance.

As you continue to ignore them because they were never there with you or for you, ever. So they don’t even exist to you.

And you just keep on living, seizing the day, every day.

Carpe diem.

Psychedelic Impact

“To know what people really think, pay regard to what they do rather than what they say.” – René Descartes

Actions really do speak louder than words, but most people still get fooled by the words from fools (especially fools in high places.)

Look less at what people say and look more at the impact they are having.

Words are often deceiving, but the impact we have on this planet and on others’ lives says it all.

If you have a question, ask.

If you want to communicate something with someone, speak.

Assume less.

Act more.

Speak less.

Impact more.

Psychedelic Happiness

“If you take your happiness and put it in someone’s hands, sooner or later, she is going to break it. If you give your happiness to someone else, she can always take it away. Then if happiness can only come from inside of you and is the result of your love, you are responsible for your happiness.” — Don Miguel Ruiz

One of the greatest lessons my psilocybin experiences have taught me is to put my own happiness into my own hands. My happiness depends completely on myself, just as yours depends on yourself & no one else.

The mistake many people make is they depend on other people for their own happiness, when you will never find happiness from another person. You will only ever find it within yourself.

If you haven’t found it within yourself yet, psilocybin really might be for you.

Meditation is also a good complement to the psilocybin experience.

If you have ever looked for happiness through voting, or in politics – good luck – you’ll never find it in the devils political games.

Shamanic Creations

“Only psychos and shamans create their own reality.” —Terence McKenna

Have you seen all the Jesus pieces everywhere?

Only some sort of shaman could create something like that…well, like this – because it’s happening in the present moment.

You are witnessing a real life shamanic dance in the waterfall (with global, possibly universal impact.)

Psychedelic Revelations

“Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behaviour and information processing. They open you up to the possibility that everything you know is wrong.” — Terence McKenna

Psychedelics like psilocybin mushrooms can be used to look into human psychology as microscopes & telescopes are used to look into the micro & macro levels of life.

Psilocybin mushrooms frighten some people because they really do dissolve peoples’ narrow belief systems & get people to see life from a different perspective other than from their individual ego.

Alien Nation

Title: Alien Nation

“The cost of sanity in this society, is a certain level of alienation.” — Terence Mckenna

Sanity is lived beyond the (insane) everyday cultural dramas the news broadcasts all day every day.

It takes a certain level of alienation to create an alien nation beyond the insanities of modern day life.

Psychedelic Chaos

“Chaos is what we’ve lost touch with. This is why it is given a bad name. It is feared by the dominant archetype of our world, which is Ego, which clenches because its existence is defined in terms of control.” — Terence McKenna

Nature is the perfect example of true chaos & simultaneously nature is perfect as it is.

Humanity’s ego fears chaos; nature, & works overtime to try to control nature; chaos.

How long can humanity survive by trying to control nature?

(Before nature fights back.)

The title says it all.
Plus I left in a “blooper” at the beginning of the episode a little after the 1 minute intro (same with episode 14).
Enjoy 🙂

First Trip Poem

I wasn’t sure what I should do,

When asked to take a trip with you.

I was intrigued,

But also scared,

Like in a game of truth or dare.

I made a choice,

And took a leap,

Into the unknown,

Like hide and seek.

I played the game,

One with no rules,

Swam for awhile,

In a cosmic pool.

It was refreshing,

Breath to my soul,

You showed me life,

You gave me hope.
