Psychedelic Beliefs

“My technique is don’t believe anything. If you believe in something, you are automatically precluded from believing its opposite.”
—Terence McKenna

This technique Terence speaks of is Zen-like.

It remains open to all things.

& in being open to all things, all things are opened to them

Psychedelic Dreams

“The imagination is the goal of history. I see culture as an effort to literally realize our collective dreams.”
—Terence McKenna

So where do we begin?

We begin where we are.

Meditation practices are one of the best ways to get into the collective zen mind.

The higher collective.

And from this sacred space the answers arise naturally.

Together.

Psychedelic Perceptions

“If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, Infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things thro’ narrow chinks of his cavern.”
—William Blake

Aldous Huxley’s book The Doors of Perception discusses this experience firsthand — it’s Huxley describing his experience on the psychedelic mescaline.

And it’s one of the best descriptions of the psychedelic experience.

The doors of perception are cleansed and you experience life in the Atman, the Soul.

You have an out of body experience and still you know without a doubt that you are everything.

The essence of life.

The real you.

Never born, never dies.

Infinite.

Psychedelic Maturity

“You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island of opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land; there is no other life but this.”
—Henry David Thoreau

Here we are, you and me.

Here right now, together, we.

And from here, we can go anywhere, but we must get here first.

Going Within

“We have been to the moon, we have charted the depths of the ocean and the heart of the atom, but we have a fear of looking inward to ourselves because we sense that is where all the contradictions flow together.”
—Terence McKenna

Psilocybin mushrooms is really a journey toward your self.

It’s a journey you take only if you truly want to know who you are.

It’s a journey beyond and within the mask of our egos we all wear so fittingly.

It’s a journey to your Soul.

The Atman.

Your real self.

Psychedelic Exploration

“You are an explorer, and you represent our species, and the greatest good you can do is to bring back a new idea, because our world is endangered by the absence of good ideas. Our world is in crisis because of the absence of consciousness.”
—Terence McKenna

Continue doing yourself & the world a favor by exploring & bringing back new ideas to share with our world.

Thank you

Psychedelic Thanksgiving

“I am grateful for what I am and have. My thanksgiving is perpetual.”
—Henry David Thoreau

One of the best human experiences is the feeling of deep gratitude.

Deep gratitude, which is one my favorite experiences on psilocybin mushrooms, goes way beyond thinking about what you are thankful for.

It’s a whole body experience – you can feel it in your bones – you can feel it in your toes, up your legs and throughout your entire body.

It’s a wholly connection with the Universe.

These experiences have come to me at random times during my macro psilocybin trips, and it’s a bliss beyond compare.

But speaking of comparison — One way to not feel this bliss is to constantly compare your life to others’ lives.

Comparison lives in the thinking mind, as do so many other constructs & ideas that easily steal joy from your person.

Gratitude lives in this moment.

Here & now.

Love.

Practice Non-Hate

“Haters are all failures. It’s 100% across the board. No one who is truly brilliant at anything is a hater.”
— Joe Rogan

I really don’t have much to say about haters.

Haters are usually people who have nothing good going on in their lives so they shift their focus onto someone or something else – to “take away from the pain of their lives” maybe?

Or to point a finger at someone else before the finger gets pointed at them…

I don’t know.

Why do people hate?

Yes, there is a difference between righteous anger & hate, but most hate that we seen on tv or in the news is just hate.

“Nothing can be loved or hated unless it is first understood.”
—Leonardo Da Vinci

What if instead of quickly judging & hating someone or something, we took time to try to understand it?

^this is the psychedelic way.

This is our way.

The Psychedelic Self

“Make the most of yourself…for that is all there is of you.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson

This quote inspires me to not compare myself to anyone else. It inspires me to express myself – to express just me, and not try to express anyone else. Because I, just like everyone else, am unique, and should express MY self. My art. My song. My writing. My philosophy. And that I should never ever ever try to be like anyone else.

^that is, I should continue doing what I’m doing, except even more so, as I hope you do the same.

Thank you Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Psychedelic Research

Play is the highest form of research.”
― Albert Einstein

Why do some of the greatest inventions & innovations come by accident?

It is because the innovator was playing & accidentally created or stumbled upon something of worth.

For example, Albert Hofmann accidentally created LSD while he was looking to synthesize a chemical compound for respiratory & circulatory stimulation.

This type of research can be integrated into any type of work and I think we will see a lot more of it in the upcoming years through Virtual Reality.

Making work fun to improve our work.

Now that’s a good idea.
