Was da Vinci possibly talking about a psychedelic experience??
Because planes & any type of flying machine were non-existent in da Vinci’s time.
Maybe da Vinci ate some magic mushrooms & experienced the mystical, the transcendent, the beyond, or “flight” as da Vinci calls it.
And yes, similar to da Vinci, the mystical experiences I’ve tasted have created a longing in me to integrate the mystical into my daily life & appreciate those moments when they arise.
